The Visionary Behind the Nexus

Eric Anthony Devezin, DPA Student & 2025 Equity Fellow Dedicated to unmasking inequities within administrative systems, Eric uses his doctoral research at California Baptist University to advocate for timelines that include every citizen. By analyzing the "policy nexus," where data meets human impact, he translates complex analytics into actionable equity. His work centers on "Administrative Chrononormativity," a critical look at how rigid bureaucratic structures and "straight time" exclude marginalized populations and impact queer health outcomes. Driven by his experience as a CAP Commissioner and CASA, Eric is committed to building human-centered policies for the information age.
