Know Your Rights: National State of Emergency for LGBTQ+ Americans
Here are some of your rights as an LGBTQ+ person: The right to be free from discrimination based on your sexual orientation or gender identity. The right to marry the person you love, regardless of their gender. The right to adopt children. The right to serve in the military. The right to access healthcare, including gender-affirming care. The right to be free from violence and harassment. The right to express your gender identity and sexual orientation without fear of reprisal. If you believe that your rights have been violated, you can file a complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
