We, the people of the United States, demand that Congress pass a law to give parents paid time off after their babies are born. The Difference Between PFL and FMLA in California FMLA is for companies with 50 or more employees within a 75-mile radius. PFL is for companies with one or more employees who are subject to SDI. FMLA: Must have worked for an employer 12 months and 1,250 hours in the last 12-month period.
